By providing your personal information, you acknowledge that such transfers may occur.
5. Delegate Networking & Sponsor Data Sharing — Opt-Out
Sharing delegate contact details with sponsors and fellow attendees is an integral part of the Corpolinx event experience. However, you have the right to opt out.
To opt out of having your contact details shared with sponsors and/or other delegates, you must:
-
Tick the relevant opt-out box on the event registration form at the time of registration; or
-
Notify Corpolinx in writing at privacy@corpolinx.com.au prior to the Event.
Please note that once delegate lists have been distributed prior to an Event, we are unable to retract information already shared. We therefore strongly encourage delegates who do not wish their details shared to opt out at the time of registration.
6. Direct Marketing
With your consent, or where otherwise permitted by law, we may send you marketing communications about Corpolinx events, products, and services via email, phone, or other electronic channels.
You may opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time by:
-
Using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email;
-
Contacting us at privacy@corpolinx.com.au; or
-
Calling us on our published contact number.
Opting out of marketing communications will not affect transactional communications related to a confirmed registration.
7. Cookies & Website Tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve user experience, measure website performance, and serve relevant content. Cookies may include:
-
Essential cookies: required for website functionality;
-
Analytics cookies: used to understand how visitors interact with our website (e.g. Google Analytics);

You may disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling non-essential cookies will not prevent you from accessing the website or registering for events, though some features may be limited.
8. Data Storage & Security
We store personal information securely using industry-standard technical and organisational measures, including encrypted storage, access controls, and secure data transmission protocols.
Personal information is stored on servers located in Australia or, where third-party platforms are used, potentially overseas. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.
No data transmission over the internet is entirely secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to or from our systems.
In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will comply with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act, including notifying affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required.

-
Marketing contact lists: retained until you opt out or request deletion;

Where personal information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it securely.
10. Access & Correction
You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to request correction of information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.
To make an access or correction request, please contact us using the details in clause 13. We will respond within 30 days. In some circumstances, we may be entitled to decline a request, in which case we will explain the reason in writing.
We do not charge a fee for making an access request, but we may charge a reasonable fee for the cost of providing access where requests are complex or extensive.
11. Anonymity & Pseudonymity
Where practicable, you may interact with Corpolinx anonymously or using a pseudonym. However, this is generally not possible for event registration, as we require accurate delegate information to process registrations, issue invoices, and manage attendance.

To exercise any GDPR rights, please contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@corpolinx.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. If you are an EU resident and are unsatisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
16. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, and the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Any disputes arising in connection with this Policy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
